Evaluation of Foreign Qualifications

The evaluation process aims to inform a variety of decision makers, who are not knowledgeable about education & training systems other than that of South Africa, or the qualifications offered in those, of the most appropriate levels of recognition of the foreign qualifications and to provide guidelines for placement for a range of purposes.

This service is conducted in line with the principles of the National Qualifications Framework and according to international best practice. The evaluation of foreign qualifications can be applied for in accordance with the procedural guidelines and tariff structure contained in the application form of the Directorate: Foreign Qualifications Evaluation and Advisory Services (DFQEAS).
